The Vendor Pulse dashboard is your portfolio-level view: how many vendors you have, how their assessments are progressing, where your risk is concentrated, and which vendors need attention first.
It is made up of four summary cards across the top and five panels below them.

Click Dashboard in the sidebar. Every card and panel has an information icon; hover it for a short explanation of what that number means.

| Total Vendors | The total number of vendors being assessed or monitored. Includes a change indicator for the last 30 days. |
| Active Assessments | Assessments currently in progress, with "of *N*" underneath showing the total number of assessments. Includes a change indicator for the last 30 days. |
| Average Compliance Rate | The percentage of vendor assessment responses that meet compliance requirements, averaged across all onboarded vendors. Compared against last month. |
| Average Risk Score | Combined risk score across all onboarded vendors, on a 0–10 scale. Compared against last month. |
Risk score bands are Low (0–3), Medium (3–5), High (5–7) and Critical (7–10).
A donut chart breaking your assessments down into three states:
Each is shown with its count and its share of the total. States with a count of zero are hidden once you have data.
Beneath the chart is a list of your vendors — the 100 with the most recent activity. Filter it with the chips:

Click any vendor in the list to open their Profile.
Up to five vendors with the highest average risk scores, drawn as bars. The bar height shows relative risk within this set, and each bar is labelled with the vendor's score. Click a vendor to open their Manage Risk tab.
A grid counting your onboarded vendors at each intersection of Business Impact and Criticality, using the bands Low, Medium, High and Critical. Use it to see where risk is concentrated across the two dimensions. Opening a cell shows Risk Matrix Details with the Vendor Name and Risk Rating of the vendors in it.
A single large number — how many risks are still open — with "open of *N* total" beside it, and a bar chart splitting those risks by severity.
A risk counts as open when its status is Pending, Planning, In Progress or On Hold.
A bubble chart of the top five industries by onboarded vendor count. Bubble size is proportional to the number of onboarded vendors in that industry. Click a bubble to see the vendors in it.
The dashboard is empty → The panels fill in as vendors and assessments are added. Add a vendor first.
The Risk Matrix shows nothing → The matrix counts onboarded vendors only, and needs impact and criticality values recorded against them.
High Risk Vendors says there is no vendor risk data → No vendor has a risk score yet. Scores appear once assessments have been completed and risks scored.
The compliance rate or risk score card shows no comparison → Comparisons need a previous month to compare against. They appear once there is enough history.
Assessment Status shows fewer slices than I expected → States with a count of zero are hidden when there is data to show. A missing slice means that state has no assessments.
