Interno: Metrics & Glossary
A reference for the terms, features, and dashboard metrics you'll see across Interno (the Zeron Command Center). Use it to understand what each KPI represents and what the platform's building blocks mean.
Platform & Navigation
| Term | What it means |
| Posture Dashboard | The unified overview of your security health across all connected tools — posture score, asset overview, risk summary, integration health, and recent alerts. |
| Asset Inventory | The consolidated list of all assets discovered from your connected integrations (and manual uploads), with a comparison matrix across sources. |
| Integration / Connector | A link between Interno and an external security tool, cloud provider, or IT system (e.g., Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike, AWS, Azure) that pulls data in automatically. |
| Manual Ingestion | Uploading security or asset data by file (CSV/Excel) when it isn't available through a connector. |
| Query Library | A collection of Standard (pre-built) and Custom queries used to analyze your security data, plus the home for Alerts and Evidence Queries. |
| Evidence Query | A saved query that produces compliance evidence (shared with Conformity) so the same data supports both security operations and audits. |
| Risk Register | Where identified risks are tracked and managed through their full lifecycle. |
| Widget | A single visualization (chart, table, or KPI tile) built from a query and placed on a dashboard. |
AI & Automation
| Term | What it means |
| ZIN Copilot | Interno's AI conversational assistant for security insights, commands, and analysis across your connected stack. |
| Morning Briefing | A scheduled AI-generated summary of your security posture, delivered on a cadence you set. |
| Proactive Risk Insights | AI-surfaced risks and recommendations that ZIN identifies by continuously analyzing your connected data. |
| One-Click Remediation | Acting on a finding directly from Interno, where the connected tool permits remediation actions. |
| HITL Approval (Human-in-the-Loop) | A checkpoint where an AI agent's sensitive action waits for a human to approve before it runs. |
| Agent Task | A unit of work initiated by an AI agent, which may require an HITL approval before completing. |
Access & Permissions
| Term | What it means |
| Scope | A permission string that grants a specific action (e.g., defence:dashboard:view). Without the required scope, a user sees an "Unauthorized" screen. |
| Group | A bundle of permission policies. Users added to a group inherit all its permissions — the recommended way to manage access. |
| Policy | A set of permissions that can be attached to a group or directly to a user. |
Dashboard Metrics & KPIs
Interno ships with 14+ pre-built KPI widgets. Here's what each represents at a glance:

| Security Posture Score | An overall health metric summarizing your security state across connected tools. |
| Breach Probability | Assesses security breach risk and threat exposure. |
| Z-Score Analysis | Detects statistical anomalies and pattern deviations from the norm. |
