How to Review Assessment Responses

Prerequisites

  • A vendor with a submitted assessment
  • Access to the vendor's Assessment Process tab

  • Accessing Assessment Responses

    Navigation: Sidebar → Vendors → [Select Vendor] → Assessment Process Tab
  • Click Vendors in the sidebar.
  • Click on the vendor whose assessment you want to review.
  • Navigate to the Assessment Process tab.
  • Click on the submitted assessment to open the review page.

  • Reviewing Responses

    Category-Level Review

  • The assessment review page displays responses organized by categories (matching the MasterVault template structure).
  • Click on a category to expand and see the questions and vendor responses.
  • For each question, you can:
  • View the vendor's answer
  • See supporting documents uploaded by the vendor
  • Add review comments with your feedback
  • Flag answers that need follow-up
  • Assessment Metrics

    The review page displays metrics including:

  • Completion Rate — percentage of questions answered
  • Response Quality — based on confidence scoring
  • Category-wise Scores — per-category compliance breakdown
  • Adding Comments

  • Click the comment icon on any question or category.
  • Enter your feedback or queries.
  • Comments are visible to your team for collaborative review.
  • Uploading Review Documents

  • Use the document upload feature to attach review notes, audit findings, or supporting evidence.
  • Private Documents can be uploaded that are only visible to your internal team (not shared with the vendor).

  • Importing Assessments

    If assessment responses were collected outside the platform:

  • Click the Import Assessment option.
  • Upload the completed assessment data.
  • The system maps responses to the corresponding template questions.

  • Sending Reminders

  • From the Assessment Process tab, click Send Reminder on pending assessments.
  • The vendor's SPOC receives a notification to complete the assessment.

  • Troubleshooting

    IssueSolution
    Cannot see vendor responsesThe vendor may not have submitted yet. Check the assessment status — it should show "Submitted".
    Comments not savingEnsure you click Save/Submit after entering a comment. Refresh if needed.
    Assessment metrics seem incorrectMetrics are calculated from the vendor's responses. Incomplete responses affect the metrics.
    Cannot import assessmentVerify the import file matches the expected template format.
